New Pokemon Species?

FEB 9 - Reports came in this afternoon of an unidentified pokemon spotted in eastern Kohaku Region.

Many photos and several videos of a massive pokemon silhouette have surfaced across social media today.

The pokemon is at least as large as a salamence. Professor Hawthorne has already theorized that it is the ancient salamence known to sleep in Ceres Forest, displaced by the scourge upset in its home.

However, Professor Hornbeam disagrees. He has commented that the shadow seems to be a bird rather than a dragon. He posits that it is a flying type.

In a missive to Kohaku University, the Professor wrote, "[The pokemon] spotted over Aurae. Very large, estimated wingspan of 20ft at minimum. No details visible, even with close-ups. Creature must be hiding itself."

The public is divided over whether the new pokemon spotting is a good sign or a bad omen.

"It's Ho-oh, come to save us," said Penelope Klissen, a Sol City local, voicing one of the popular rumors spreading throughout Sol City.

"It's probably a scourge scout scoping out the area," said Marc Jassu. His pessimistic opinion is shared by many.
