This world is inhabited by creatures that we call pokemon. People and pokemon live together by supporting each other, but now the scourge threatens the safety of the entire region. Kohaku has become a dangerous place, where children stay at home and only brave souls go adventuring.
Welcome to KOHAKU. Come for the nightmares. Stay for the tea and crumpets.
The season is SUMMER. It is easy for survivors to forage for food from the land, as there are entire abandoned farms ready for harvest. On the downside, you can smell the corpses.

the heal pulse hadn't repaired more than the epidermal of J's injuries. a chunk of flesh within was still torn, but it would heal in time. but J really wasn't in any shape to be standing, at any rate, with injuries in his back and thigh.
"delta?" J repeated again. perhaps this was the name of the person who resembled him. he had heard of such a person, but not in extensive detail. "no?"
< delta, > minerva repeated, as if that would help. < batin's boyfriend. >
minerva spent a lot of her time alone watching human soaps, particularly the ones in the langauge called span--eesh. she hoped that delta and j would meet, and delta would violently assault and kill him for being a "puta de mierda" who "stole my man."
well that wasn't a problem at all. he looked like him, was leaning on batin, yeah well that wasn't weird. nope. J had no choice but to continue using batin as a crutch, though.
"i see," J said. he wondered if he would ever meet this delta in person, as they seemed to never have met before. it would be an interesting encounter, to say the least. silence descended upon them and J took it upon himself to say something else.
"appearance-wise," batin said mildly. "spending time with you has made it clear to me that you are markedly different in personality. although you both seem to be at the epicenter of the strangest occurrences. i wonder if it's related to your ability to pass as twins despite having never met and possessing no relation."
< delta is also very fierce and scary, > minerva said. < and powerful! >
it appeared that much like toska, minerva was a shipper. although their otps differed.
funny enough, underneath his parka, J's fc wore a suit as well. no one seemed to notice that, though. because once the parka was off, they were identical.
once all the other clothes were off though, who knew.
"you know neo too?" J raised an eyebrow. neo certainly wormed her way straight into a web of relationships with agents, it seemed. he wondered how she got to know batin in the first place. "i wouldn't say she has spunk."
his impression of neo had been vaguely unfavorable as of recent times, simply because he didn't take too kindly to being pushed around. in the past, he was fine in helping out, but being used as a weapon was something he was edgy about.
"more like a scientific mind and a desire for experiments."
J's laughter was soft, cut off only when he winced from the pain in his back. so that was why batin had burn marks on his face. neo. seemed likely, considering her team of pokémon.
"so do you have any particular attachments to her?" it was a question to the both of them.
